We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Tax Specialist to join our team. As a Tax Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. You will work closely with clients, providing expert guidance and support related to tax planning and strategy. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of tax law and regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex tax concepts in a clear and concise manner.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businessesConduct thorough research and analysis to resolve complex tax issuesResearch and interpret tax laws and regulations to provide accurate and timely advice to clientsAdvise clients on tax planning strategies and potential tax savings opportunitiesAssist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authoritiesKeep up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations and communicate potential impacts to clientsDevelop and maintain relationships with clients and key stakeholders to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retentionRequirementsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA certification preferredMinimum of 3 years of experience in tax preparation and planningStrong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsProficient in using tax software and MS Office applicationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and high level of accuracyAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently
