Join a well-established global leader; as a key player in the industry, this company stands out for its commitment to excellence and is widely respected for its high-quality and trusted brand.In this role, you'll work closely with the Head of Tax and be actively engaged with cross-functional teams, gaining hands-on experience and exposure across the business.With a focus on continuous improvement and innovation, this company provides a supportive environment that encourages both professional growth and career development.Responsibilities:Preparation and review of income tax statements, supporting financial reporting and compliance processes.Preparation and lodgement of corporate tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.Prepare and submit FBT (Fringe Benefits Tax) returns, providing accurate and timely compliance.Provide insights and advice on tax implications for the business, partnering with key stakeholders across departments.Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights.Identify potential tax risks and suggest mitigation strategies.Engage on tax laws and regulations to support business decisions and minimise tax exposure.Coordinate closely with tax authorities such as the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).Manage tax audits and work closely with tax authorities to ensure smooth resolutions.Review group consolidated tax returns, ensuring compliance and accuracy across all entities.Qualifications:CPA/CA/CTA qualified with a solid understanding of Australian tax laws.Between 5 - 10 years experience in the commercial space.Preference will be given to applicants with prior experience in an in-house matrix reporting structure.Proven experience in corporate tax and FBT return preparation.Strong knowledge of income tax statement management.Preference will be given to system experience such as Onesource.Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Take the next step in your tax career.
