Desired Skills and ExperienceNow, let's talk about the role... Assist with the preparation of Judo Bank's annual and monthly tax compliance obligations including Income Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax, Business Activity Statements and other ATO reporting.Preparation of tax effect accounting calculations and related disclosures required for Judo Bank's half year and annual reports.Support the evolution of Judo's business operations by assisting with project delivery and researching tax technical issues.Contribute towards improvements in Judo's tax processes including through the use of technology and automation solutions.Uphold and refine Judo's Tax Governance and Risk Management Framework.Ability to work effectively within a small, experienced team of cross-skilled individuals and willingness to tackle fresh challenges – As a challenger bank no two days at Judo are the same!Build strong working relationships across other areas of Judo.About you: Tertiary qualified in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.Working towards CA or CPA qualification.2+ years of tax experience.Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.Curiosity - the ability to identify where something doesn't look right and investigate.Good time management.A team player – someone who works well with others.Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders across Judo.At Judo, our culture sets us apart: Our Values: Accountability: Make decisions and own them.
