Our client is a boutique accounting practice, based 15 minutes West of Perth's CBD.
They specialise in offering business services, tax, SMSF and bookkeeping services to SME businesses.
The team consists of 24 staff - 3 Partners, 4 Managers / Senior Managers, 7 Accountants, 1 SMSF specialist, 3 Bookkeepers and 6 office support staff.
For over 8 years, the firm has outsourced work to a team in India for additional support.
Salary package :
80,000 to $120,000 package (depending on experience)
Office Hours :
Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm (flexible)
About the position :
Due to organic growth and succession planning, our client is seeking an experienced Senior / Assistant Manager to join their growing team.
A current Manager will become a Partner in 2025 and is ready to mentor and train the successful individual into a Management role.
The role will involve working in a pool system of accountants, reporting directly to a Partner.
With client exposure and interaction from day one, you will become an integral part of a high performing team.
They use XERO, BGL, Class, FYI Docs, Now Infinity and many more software packages.
Specialising in the SME space, you will have a mixture of compliance and advisory services to provide your clients with - 80% compliance and 20% advisory.
Clients range from manufacturing, mining, gyms, cafes, crypto, farming industry and more.
The average client turnover is $3m-$5m and the largest is $50m turnover.

Requirements :
Must reside within Perth, Western Australia
Ideally 4+ years experience within an Australian public practice accounting firm
Be an Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
Completed a Degree or Masters in Accounting or related subject
Ideally CA or CPA Qualified (or working towards)
Have a solid public practice accounting career history
Have strong written and verbal English language skills
