Umius Partners Pty Ltd is a boutique accounting firm located in Condell Park and Sydney CBD. We pride ourselves in providing unique and specialised accounting services to clients and work in a very friendly and supportive environment.
Due to the practice growing in size, we require the services of a Tax Accountant to come onboard and assist us in maintaining client relations and providing excellent service. The role will be located at our Condell Park office.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEHave a minimum of 3 years local experience as an AccountantCA or CPA QualifiedDemonstrate excellent writing and verbal communication skillsKnowledge and experience in Accounting and Financial ManagementAbility to resolve issues and work under pressureHigh level communication skills to liaise directly with clientsAbility to use accounting software including Xero and MYOBRESPONSIBILITIESPrepare and lodge Business Activity Statements and Taxation Returns for individuals, companies, partnerships and superannuation funds including Goods and Service Tax, PAYG instalments, PAYG withholding, and other taxesAssist in bookkeeping and accounting tasksHandle a portfolio of small-business clients to ensure lodgements by the due datesCommunicate directly with clients, ATO, or other government agenciesAssist with tax planning for clientsEngage in tax research and advisory opportunitiesWork on a range of entities including SMSFs, companies, trusts, partnerships, and individualsMaintain and update time sheets regularlyWe offer a friendly working environment and are committed to working as a team to ensure our clients are given the best service possible.
