Learn more about us and what we do at awaresuper.com.auYour New RoleAs the Group Accounting Manager, you will lead the Group Accounting and Fund Financial Operations Teams, driving excellence and innovation.Your responsibilities will include:Managing the month-end close processes and balance sheet substantiation for Aware Super Group operating entitiesOverseeing daily cash flows, contribution receipting, and benefit payments to membersEnsuring robust financial controls and compliance with tax regulationsCollaborating with various teams to deliver meaningful insights into Aware Super's financial performanceLeading and developing a team of skilled professionals to achieve our financial objectivesHow do you exceed our expectations?You are a proactive and innovative leader with a passion for excellence and a commitment to our members.You will bring:Demonstrated knowledge of in-depth accounting functions, finance, and the superannuation/financial services industryStrong understanding of accounting standards and effective reconciliationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProven problem-solving and data analytic skillsCA/CPA qualification (or equivalent) and a relevant tertiary degreeEmployee ExperienceWe understand that not everyone works in the same ways.
