Working within a team of 3 Your new companyBased in Parramatta and well established, this global business is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to work within a small team.Your new roleReporting to the Tax Manager, you will be supporting the Tax Manager with tax reporting, returns, and compliance obligations across the Group.You will be responsible for preparing tax calculations and returns including income tax compliance, FBT, GST, CFC, and transfer pricing to name a few.Your responsibilities will also include:
Supporting multiple projectsReviewing tenders to ensure complianceLiaison with relevant tax authoritiesAssisting with financial planningIdentifying tax risks and ensuring compliance with the changing tax landscapePreparation of tax position papersWhat you'll need to succeedYou will be CA/CPA qualified, have a strong understanding of Australian Tax Law, be detail-focused, possess a thirst for knowledge, have strong time management skills, the ability to multitask and meet deadlines, and have excellent attention to detail.What you'll get in returnThis role has arisen as a result of an internal promotion.
