Clinical Nurse Consultant - Infection Prevention and Control (525582)Department of HealthCommunity, Mental Health & WellbeingCMHW - Ambulance TasmaniaApplications must be submitted by: Sunday 22 December, 2024 11:55 PM AESTAward / Classification: Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Award, Registered Nurse, Grade 6Employment type: Full TimeRegion: SouthLocation: Lower Level, 12 Brisbane StWorking as part of the clinical services team, this role helps to support our front-line clinicians in the prehospital space.The Role:Developing the Ambulance Tasmania's (AT) IPC Framework, inclusive of audits and spot checks to identify areas for quality improvement.Providing clinical leadership in IPC locally and nationally.Developing and leading the AT's Staff Vaccination Program.Creating and delivering initial and ongoing Infection Prevention education and training programs.Ensuring the provision and implementation of contemporary, evidence-based infection control practices and programs in AT.Contributing to and/or leading IPC research.Details of appointment:Permanent full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Note: hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Salary: $111,506 to $118,336 per annum.
