About the Tasmanian State Service The Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels.
The Quality & Patient Safety team supports the Tasmanian Health Service, Hospitals and Primary Care North West with the delivery of quality patient care.
The team has diverse responsibilities, such as quality improvement and accreditation, patient safety, consumer feedback, and engagement.
The Role:
As a member of the THS North West Quality & Patient Safety team, the Senior Patient Safety Advisor will work closely with consumers and the multidisciplinary team across the region.
We are seeking someone with strong interpersonal skills and experience in developing effective rapport and maintaining communication with consumers from varied backgrounds.
You will need:
Ensuring the principles of continuous quality improvement are applied in the delivery of services within the Patient Safety Service.
Providing considerate, focused, and timely consumer feedback.
Promoting a proactive, integrated, innovative, and multi-disciplinary approach to continual improvement, including the active engagement of consumers in quality improvement projects.
Details of appointment:
Fixed term part-time, day worker position, working up to 45.6 hours per fortnight, commencing from 6 January 2025 until 16 May 2025.
*Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary: $107,899 to $122,292 per annum (Pro rata).
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
