In conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, the Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) - Endoscopy Services, provides expert clinical advice and leadership to ensure high quality patient/client assessment, evaluation and care within LGH Endoscopy Services.
Utilising highly developed skills and knowledge of endoscopy nursing to identify, develop, and implement processes to ensure safe and efficient peri-procedural care.
Develop, review and implement clinical policy, care guidelines, quality improvement and a variety of other activities aimed at meeting current and future service priorities.
Act as a resource for the clinical management of complex endoscopy patients, liaising with the endoscopy team, to ensure continuity of patient care in line with legislation and best practice principles.
Details of appointment:
Permanent, part time, day worker position, working up to 12 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary:
$111,506 to $118,336 per annum (Pro rata).
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.
*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment.
It is the employee's responsibility to ensure that registration/licences remain current and to advise the Employer if their circumstances change.
