Immediate Start Flexible Working Conditions Alice Springs, NT The Company Talice Security is a locally owned and operated company that been providing security services in the Northern Territory for over 30 years. The company has grown from a small one-person operation to our current organization of over 100 employees.
We are currently looking for Security Officers who are safety conscious and can work with a diverse group of people.
Key responsibilities for this position include though not limited to: The ability to provide security and customer service in a large client base environment. The ability to coordinate and complete all patrols and any other security work during the shift. The ability and willingness to learn the operations of alarm systems, access control systems, CCTV and Fire & Safety procedures including Fire Indication panels. Proven experience in communicating and responding to challenging and aggressive situations such as distressed persons, demonstrating empathy, integrity and resilience under various circumstances. Strong written communication skills particularly in report writing, maintaining shift logs and entering information into databases. The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders including ability to work independently and co-operatively as a member of a team. The Candidate To be considered for this position you must be able to obtain / demonstrate the following qualifications and skills;
Current NT Security License Current NT C Class Driver's License Certificate II in Security Operations A current Certificate in First Aid with CPR Demonstrated Competency in Primary and Secondary Screening Processes (Desirable) High levels of Emotional Intelligence The ability to communicate effectively with people from different backgrounds and walks of life High level of integrity and commitment to company and/or site procedures Attention to detail and strong literacy and numeracy skills As a Security Officer with Talice Security we offer; Intensive, comprehensive training Issue of high quality corporate uniforms and accessories On site PPE to allow you to safely conduct your duties within your role.
