Based at our Head Office in Dandenong South, this is an excellent opportunity if you are a dynamic payroll professional wanting a national role you can make your own.
Your responsibilities will include: Preparing accurate payroll for all wages and salaried staff each pay period Establishing and controlling the payment of wages and salaries Managing the payroll component of our HRIS including maintaining employee data Preparing reports from HRIS involving skills grades/classifications, performance data, payroll information, and other employee records Coordinating payment and reconciliations for Payroll Tax, PAYG Tax, Workcover, and Superannuation. About You You will thrive here if you enjoy building relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders and contributing to the organisation as an expert in your field.
Experience in a global business will set you in good stead, as will your experience in the use of computerized payroll systems, HRIS, and payroll administration. It goes without saying that you pride yourself on your attention to detail, diplomacy skills, and understand the importance of confidentiality. You will have a strong desire to implement and deliver best practice in Payroll processes and systems.
To be successful, you'll bring: 5 plus years' experience in a fully autonomous payroll role Experience in General Ledger Reconciliations for payroll-related G/L accounts Experience with the calculation of redundancy and termination payments, Award interpretation, and providing HR advice Experience in providing payroll/HR statistics and reporting Experience in handling a range of pay, grievance, leave, and termination matters Knowledge of Employment Hero and a tertiary qualification in finance or HR would be desirable Why choose us?
