Great opportunity for an experienced attraction specialist to take on a position in the Talent Acquisition Group.The Talent Attraction Specialist, Talent Acquisition develops and co-ordinates talent attraction strategies and activities for QCS' frontline positions to promote the employment and career opportunities that exist within our frontline roles of Queensland Corrective Services, working closely with the Talent Acquisition Advisors.
ResponsibilitiesProvide significant contribution to the development of creative talent attraction strategies that deliver increased talent pipelines and are aligned with the Talent Acquisition Group workforce plans.Coordinate and conduct public information and promotional activities both in person and online.Collaborate with QCS Media and Communications unit on targeted recruitment content for publication, both online and printed.Build capability in the Talent Acquisition Group through implementing and coordinating key attraction initiatives to deliver targeted outcomes.Undertake analysis of any attraction activity and provide advice on trends or insights that assist with recruitment planning.Review and update attraction material to ensure compliance with relevant guidelines, legislation and/or policies.Proactively seek and research new ways to improve QCS' attraction strategies.Compile regular reports on talent pipelines and outcomes achieved from attraction strategies.Essential RequirementsExperience using various attraction and sourcing methods, preferably gained in a medium to large organisation.Effective interpersonal skills as evidenced by the ability to build successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders with a focus on high quality talent attraction.Demonstrated written communication and research skills including the ability to prepare bespoke attraction strategies.The ability to think outside the box in researching and resolving any attraction issues, and for improving attraction materials.Ability to prioritise and coordinate activities in a team environment to meet established deadlines.The successful applicant will be required to travel intrastate.
