We operate under a contractor model utilising Owner-Drivers. Growing at a rapid rate, our biggest problem right now is not having enough Drivers to keep up with demand!
This exciting opportunity for a proactive and professional Talent Acquisition & Engagement Specialist will be based at our Welshpool office. Reporting to the State Manager - WA, this is a unique role that will not only have you delivering the end-to-end recruitment process, but you will also own the onboarding process and put strategies in place to ensure the ongoing engagement and retention of our Drivers. Importantly, you will have the opportunity to influence and shape your role.
About your Role: Follow briefs provided by the team when sourcing and conducting recruitment process. This is not a call center role. Proactively source candidates by utilising an array of tools and outlets. Manage all aspects of pre-employment and onboarding process. Regular liaison with Drivers, we currently have 100+ drivers operating in Western Australia. Putting strategies in place to enhance Driver retention and engagement. This will include on-site activities with drivers and clients, with some flexible working hours. We will train you in our business which will give you a thorough understanding of our services. You will be enthusiastic and have a team-first attitude. Assist in ad hoc HR matters where required. You will require your own transport. Experience working with contractors and/or blue-collar environment is advantageous. Driven self-starter with the confidence to work autonomously and efficiently. Professional approach and high-level work ethic. Ability to communicate at all levels, and with people of different backgrounds. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Team-based attitude; willing to go outside of required duties.
