Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Training Lead – Civil Construction The Company:Our client is a growing Civil Construction company with a strong presence in WA. With projects primarily in the Perth metro, they offer innovative solutions completing turnkey projects including bulk and detailed earthworks, drainage, pavement, concrete works and structures, noise wall supply and installation, and utility infrastructure.
The main part of this role will be developing the company's safety systems and processes as well as helping them achieve and maintain ISO Certification. With a strong trajectory and pipeline of work, you will help to grow with the business and the team which will include having direct reports.
Role & Responsibilities: Work with key stakeholders in achieving ISO Certification.Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with regulatory requirements and company standards.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.Provide HSE training and support to site personnel, fostering a culture of safety and awareness.Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and best practices.Monitor and review risk assessments and safe work method statements (SWMS) to ensure effectiveness and compliance.Desired Experience: Minimum 5 years' experience working in the civil industry.Achieved ISO Certification and gone through Certification process.Strong understanding of ISO standards.Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental.Cert IV Training / Assessing desirable.The Offer: Up to $150k base + superWork across multiple projects in the Perth metro.Company with strong family values.Long term company and career growth.How to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their CV below.
