YMCA People and Culture team are recruiting Talent Acquisition Coordinator on a Part-Time, Fixed-Term (6 months – 3 days a week) basis to join our team located in Fortitude Valley. About the role As a Talent Acquisition Coordinator, you will provide workforce administration support to the Y Fitness, Schools and community services. Working closely with the Talent Acquisition Advisor supporting the efficient and effective attraction and onboarding. Ensuring the completion of ongoing compliance training is monitored to support the establishment of a high-quality workforce to deliver high-quality care and services to the young people and families we serve.
What will my time look like? Conduct phone screening, manual reference checks and phone interviewing for roles in the portfolios.Assist with the onboarding process of the new applications of the Y Queensland.Monitor all required compliance such as qualifications, licenses, work permits, Blue Cards are received prior to the commencement of employment.Working in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Advisory Team to review templates, processes and provide feedback on improvements.Provide weekly updates on the status of applicants in the onboarding process.General administration, electronic filing and archiving ensuring confidentiality and privacy of files are always handled in accordance with company policy, procedures and applicable legislation.Be familiar and adhere to all service and administration work instructions.Effective communication with customers and employees in a professional manner.Am I a good match? Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining strong relationships.Excellent spoken and written communication skills.Process-oriented approach with a high level of attention to detail.Experience in phone screening, interviewing, and providing guidance in an onboarding process.Possess, or be willing to obtain, a positive notice Blue Card in accordance with the Working with Children (Risk Management and Screening) Act 2000.Achievement of YMCA's Safeguarding Children Training Certificate.Ability to perform a range of administrative duties with the ability to prioritise work and meet set deadlines.Excellent spoken and written communication skills.What's in it for you?
