Primary objective: To provide contemporary training and support to users of the new Territory wide Electronic Health Record (EHR) – Acacia, during the phased implementation approach across all of NT Health's primary, remote and tertiary healthcare services.
Key duties and responsibilities: Co-design training content for end-user online training and instructor-led training, ensuring clinical focus and workflow application where appropriate. Deliver clinical information systems training applying a blended approach in various contexts, following a facilitator guide. Participate in continual process improvement by assessing training effectiveness and summarizing findings for team management. Assist in building and maintaining effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Follow defined service quality standards and WHS policies to ensure high-quality, safe services. Provide go-live implementation training and support across the Northern Territory. Selection criteria: Essential: Proven experience delivering high-quality workplace training in information systems using blended approaches. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in delivering training within a clinical health software implementation context. Demonstrated knowledge of commonly used software tools required for online training development. Proven well-developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and collaboration skills. Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities. Preparedness to travel and work non-standard hours as required. A current Northern Territory driver's licence or the ability to readily obtain. Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates DCDD values. Desirable: Degree level qualification in Health or Community Services or a related field. Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training, or other recognised training qualification. Substantial relevant experience in clinical or professional service delivery in a community services or health care setting. Experience in the delivery of training services relating to computer-based information. The recommended applicant will be required to undergo a criminal history check prior to selection being confirmed. A criminal history will not exclude an applicant from this position unless it is a relevant criminal history.
