Primary objective: To provide contemporary training and support to users of the new Territory wide Electronic Health Record (EHR) – Acacia, during the phased implementation approach across all of NT Health's primary, remote and tertiary healthcare services.
Key duties and responsibilities: Co-design training content for end-user online training and instructor-led training, ensuring clinical focus and workflow application where appropriate.Deliver clinical information systems training applying a blended approach in various contexts, following a facilitator guide.Participate in continual process improvement by assessing training effectiveness and summarizing findings for team management.Assist in building and maintaining effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.Follow defined service quality standards and WHS policies to ensure high-quality, safe services.Provide go-live implementation training and support across the Northern Territory.Selection criteria: Essential: Proven experience delivering high-quality workplace training in information systems using blended approaches.Demonstrated knowledge and experience in delivering training within a clinical health software implementation context.Demonstrated knowledge of commonly used software tools required for online training development.Proven well-developed communication, interpersonal, negotiation and collaboration skills.Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities.Preparedness to travel and work non-standard hours as required.A current Northern Territory driver's licence or the ability to readily obtain.Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates DCDD values.Desirable: Degree level qualification in Health or Community Services or a related field.Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training, or other recognised training qualification.Substantial relevant experience in clinical or professional service delivery in a community services or health care setting.Experience in the delivery of training services relating to computer-based information.The recommended applicant will be required to undergo a criminal history check prior to selection being confirmed.
