We operate two state-of-the-art safety training facilities in Darwin, NT: the Darwin Safety Training Centre at Charles Darwin University (CDU) and the Offshore Survival Training Annexe in East Arm.
The Opportunity We're looking for a passionate Trainer & Assessor who is enthusiastic about delivering our Emergency Response courses and ready to embrace our Safety Skills and OPITO courses. Training areas include, but are not limited to:
Breathing Apparatus and Fire FightingWork Safely at HeightsGas Test AtmosphereEnter Confined Space and Undertake Confined Space RescueHelicopter Underwater Escape Training (HUET)Various Induction and Permit courses What You'll Do Manage trainees and staff during scheduled coursesEnsure training meets Nationally Recognised Training ProceduresCollaborate with ERGT management to uphold quality standardsReview and update training packages and course contentSupport other team members as needed What You'll Bring Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE 40116) or working towards itProvide First Aid certificationStrong communication skills and a commitment to safetyAbility to work both independently and in a teamExperience in emergency response training or high-risk industries (desirable) Why You'll Like It Here Meaning & Purpose: Contribute to the safety of trainees and clients by equipping them with essential emergency response skills.Free Parking & Lunch: Save on commute and meal costs.Family Support: Access to Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) for you and your family.Recognition Program: Participate in the ERGT Values Recognition Program.Shared Benefits: Enjoy shared benefit payments (conditions apply).Growth Opportunities: We invest in learning and development to help our team grow.
