In this role, you will engineer (or lead) the engineering of all aspects of vital and non-vital Train Control Systems in accordance with the requirements and specifications of the client railways. You will: Scope system and sub-system requirements (specifications, scenarios, rules, interoperability etc.) with the objective of defining favourable solutions in terms of both budget and timescale, taking into consideration the product characteristics and important system aspects. Review technical documentation and perform analysis and clarification of customer related requirements. Define and update the OCS hardware and software architecture as part of the overall system architecture. Review and support of system level documents and activities in conjunction with OCS engineering life cycle (e.g. RAMS analyses, integration/validation plan, training and test concepts). Liaise with Application, Signalling, Software and other engineers as part of a broader project delivery team, contributing where necessary across the project delivery lifecycle. Planning, co-ordinating and reporting OCS delivery progress for respective projects. Assure compliance with applicable Rail technical standards and regulations. Join us in creating a better tomorrow with your qualifications. You are an experienced Systems Engineer, preferably having domain knowledge of the Rail industry. An understanding of railway signalling principles would be valuable. You have demonstrated capability in stakeholder communication, consultations and technical negotiations with customer operations and maintenance staff. We'd love to see your prior experience in Train Control Systems, preferably some experience in brownfield rail. You have tertiary education in Computer Science, Control Systems, Information Technology or Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
