Working for our Brisbane business, full time (38 hours) with hybrid options, Monday to Friday.
We are currently on the hunt for an experienced Systems Engineer who has experience working for an IT Systems Integrator or Managed Service Provider.
This varied role focuses on providing technical support to customers including remedial maintenance support on Infrastructure, LAN and WAN Networks as well as the implementation of new projects.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Implementation of Windows Servers, Azure, Office 365, Exchange, Networks and Virtual environmentsAssisting in planning and managing rolloutsProviding on-site and remote support to customersManaging tickets, job priorities and processing incoming calls, ensuring SLAs are met.Reporting on trends in the market and within the customer base, staff progress and new initiativesWho we are looking for. This is a customer-facing role that will need to have excellent presentation and communication skills, as well as being highly technical.
The role requires a large amount of autonomy, so a candidate who has good time management and organizational skills will be heavily favored.
Technical skills required include:
Must have experience installing and implementing O365, Windows AD, VMwareWindows Server – 20XX – setup, administration, support and maintenanceExchange Server 2013/16/19 setup, support and administrationOffice 365 – experience with migrations, in particular hybrid configurations between Exchange and Office 365Remote Desktop/Terminal Server/Citrix setup, support and administrationVeeam, StorageCraft, Backup Exec setup, support and administrationBasic network troubleshooting – experience with basic network protocols, any Cisco router experience will be highly regarded.Basic telephone system support – any experience highly regarded.Experience with remote support tools – TeamViewer, Remote Desktop Manager etc.VMWareIf you feel this is a role where you can thrive, apply now!
