Aboriginal applicants will be granted priority consideration for this vacancy.Primary Objective: Support the senior systems analysts by providing specialised analysis to evaluate asset systems processes and methods, identify appropriate modifications and/or additional system components to meet client agency needs, and ensure effective testing, release, and deployment of system changes.Context Statement: The Across Government Systems Division is responsible for providing system support for whole of government business systems. This position will be responsible for systems supporting asset management related activities.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Assist the senior systems analysts with the analysis and interpretation of business requirements, including identification, documentation, and validation of information regarding corporate system development initiatives.Liaise with programming and other technical service providers to ensure development of quality systems.Coordinate and execute testing and implementation activities associated with system development.Assist in the development of change proposals and other supporting governance documentation.Maintain effective collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders.Actively participate as a full member of the team contributing innovative ideas and solutions to all aspects of business.Selection Criteria:Essential:Demonstrated skills in system analysis and knowledge of business analysis processes relevant to enterprise systems.Experience coordinating test, change, and release activities in an enterprise systems context.Experience in enterprise systems testing and knowledge of testing techniques, concepts, standards, and processes.Sound written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues in non-technical terms.Proven ability to work autonomously, achieve deadlines in a high-pressure environment, including flexibility to work outside of business hours when required.Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with people of diverse cultures.Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates DCDD values of being professional, accountable, honest, innovative, and respectful.Desirable:Degree in information technology or related discipline.ITIL Foundation Certificate or other relevant service delivery certification.Further Information: We may have further requirements for this vacancy, such as criminal history checks, flexibility in starting dates, or requirements for travel.
