InvoCare, a leading provider of funeral services, is looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our dynamic Information Technology team.
This is your opportunity to contribute to a company that excels at honouring, celebrating, and memorialising loved ones.About the RoleAs a Systems Administrator, you will be instrumental in implementing, managing, operating, securing, and monitoring InvoCare's Data Centre and Cloud Services.
You will work closely with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and support robust infrastructure solutions, primarily utilising Microsoft computing services.
This role demands a focus on reliability, scalability, testing, and automation, ensuring the highest standards in our IT operations.LocationOur offices are based in Rhodes.
This role requires you to work 5 days a week in the office, where you'll be surrounded by a collaborative team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging, operating, supporting and monitoring Data Centre & Cloud Services, and the End User Computing environment within InvoCare.Providing support and troubleshooting of Data Centre and Cloud infrastructure solutions primarily built upon Microsoft computing services.Oversight of the 'Standard Operating Environments' (SOE), including desktops, laptops, tablets, iPad and mobile phones.
This includes ensuring efficient and 'fit for purpose' builds, maintenance, patching and software updates.At times the Systems Administrator may be required to perform duties to ensure the effectiveness of the IT operations that support the business (such as network, telephony & AV systems).
These activities may fall outside of normal business hours.Essential Qualifications and Skills3 years' + experience with Data Centre, IaaS, PaaS and SaaS, cloud computing and/or emerging technologies3 years' + experience and management of EUC & SOE in Enterprise environmentsKnowledge of SQL Server, IIS, Active Directory and other key server technologyWorking knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP, SDWAN & wide area network technologiesITIL exposure in a hybrid cloud environmentPublic and Private Cloud domain experienceExcellent communication and Stakeholder engagement skillsWorking knowledge of scripting languagesApply NowIf you are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role, apply now to join our IT team.
