Travel is expected approximately every 60 days.Maintain current version of operational software, databases, password administration, firewalls, and anti-virus/anti-spam applications/software on all assigned computer command, control, and monitoring equipmentImplement software and firmware patches, software upgrades, configuration changes, arrange for technical support for hardware repairs, and provide database for life cycle replacementPerform preventive maintenance on IT systems and related equipmentPerform communication systems operational and diagnostic testingSet up and configure IT networks and maintain system documentationAssist with troubleshooting and administration of existing network systems; troubleshoot basic network problemsPerform routine tests of assigned system and report on results; monitor the network and report system failuresMaintain databases for communication systems information and network Internet Protocols (IPs)Support external entitiesReview, test, and apply Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) patches to all information systemsReview and update security, software, user, and system profiles for all information systemsPerform information system hardware and software maintenancePerform user and administrator account maintenanceInitiate, update, track, and complete work orders for information systemsCoordinate with external entities for troubleshooting, analysis, and repair of information systemsAdditional DutiesAbility to lift 35 pounds 3 feet verticallyAble to carry 50 pounds 50 feet without restingQualificationsQualifications/EducationSatisfy CSWF 8140.01 Code 451 (Intermediate) requirementsMust complete CMS 301 PQS within 30 days of start, if not already qualifiedExperience/Skills Required7 or more years of experience in network and information systems technology with experience in Windows, SQL, DB2, Solaris, and LinuxKnowledge of OPNAVINST 5530.14C and NISPOM (DoD 5220.22-M)Additional InformationRelocation reimbursement Visa Sponsorship Remote allowances#J-18808-Ljbffr
