Key Responsibilities The System Administrator role will be based in our office in Preston, VIC, reporting to the Head of IT Engineering.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support across the company, managing IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
This role requires a hands-on professional who is comfortable working with various technologies and can handle a range of IT-related tasks including:
System Implementation: Configure and deploy system solutions based on project requirements and industry best practices.Monitoring & Maintenance: Continuously monitor system performance and stability, performing regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal operation.Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.Automation: Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks, improve system efficiency, and reduce manual errors.Integration: Work on integrating systems and applications, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability between different platforms and technologies.Escalation Point: Act as an escalation point for complex Level 3 IT issues and find satisfactory resolutions.Skills and Experience 5+ years of IT experience, with 3-5 years in a Helpdesk Level 3 or equivalent role within an Infrastructure Team.Experienced in administering Citrix based environments (CVAD/Netscaler/APP-V).Experience managing Windows Desktop & Server operating systems (10 & 11 / 2016 - 2022).Experience in administration of virtualized environments, including VMware and Azure VMs.Previous experience with Healthcare systems/applications desirable.Administration knowledge of SharePoint, MS Teams, and other Microsoft Office 365 products.Proficiency with Intune.Relevant security/network certifications are a plus.How to Apply Please apply here through SEEK and send through your Resume along with a brief Cover Letter.
