Sydney: Legal Counsel - It

Who are we looking for?We are working with a number of our clients operating across the financial services, technology, telecommunications, healthcare, and professional services industries (to name a few) on their full-time assignment needs, and we're interested in hearing from IT lawyers available at short notice to join us to commence their LOD assignment journey.Your day-to-day responsibilities will be varied; however, examples of some of the interesting work you may be involved in on assignment include advising on a range of IT matters and related agreements, including drafting master technology services agreements, technology procurement, implementation, software licensing, SaaS, and outsourcing agreements.These assignments could also see you involved with embedding new privacy and data policies and providing legal advice and solutions on upcoming privacy & data issues in relation to GDPR and Australian Privacy Principles. The assignments are of varied durations, for a minimum of 3 months with an immediate start.To join us, you will:Have between 4-12 years relevant PQE with a top-tier/mid-tier law firm and/or in-house/secondment experience.Be available to commence a secondment at short notice.Be commercially minded, have the ability to hit the ground running, and manage relationships with all levels of a business.What sets us apart?LOD is an original New Law pioneer.
