A new role within StateCover's Claims Operations and reporting to the General Manager - Claims, this position will lead several small teams to execute programs of work aligned to our strategic goals. Overseeing claims administrative support, relief and specialised claims resources and analytics, this is a diverse, challenging position that provides a genuine opportunity to really make an impact.
In addition, this position is a key driver in embedding operating excellence throughout the function. The role will be responsible for scoping, championing and delivering technology and process-based functional improvement projects and activities in collaboration with our projects and process improvement specialists.
Your story The successful candidate will be adept at resource planning, people leadership, capability development, design and delivery of efficient and effective operating procedures.
You will be a team player, have a professional yet relaxed demeanour and know how to get the best from your people. You can provide examples of how you've developed your team members and contributed to workplaces to achieve and realise success. Technically you will have a sound understanding of NSW Workers' compensation insurance and have worked in or have relatable experience dealing with workers' compensation claims management, business improvement and you know your numbers. Your expertise is backed up by relevant and applicable qualifications and you are seeking a move to a business where people are the priority.
