Look no further! TheCity of Stirling's Development Services team is seeking adedicated Swimming Pool Inspector to join our Verge and SwimmingPool team.
About the Position The City's Development Services team has an opportunityfor a Swimming Pool Inspector to join our Verge and Swimming Poolteam. There are over 13,000 private swimming pools within the Cityof Stirling boundaries and our small team of Swimming PoolInspectors have the important responsibility of undertaking safetyinspections of pool and spa barriers.
This busy team undertake between 4,000-5,000 inspectionsannually, ensuring the compliance of pool and spa barriers withrelevant legislation.
Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough inspections of private swimming poolbarriers to assess compliance with the Building Act 2011,Building Regulations 2012, and relevant AustralianStandards. Prepare, maintain, and meticulously document accuraterecords related to private swimming pool barriers and theircondition. Provide expert information and technical advice toresidents, builders, fencing companies, landscapers, and otherstakeholders (both in person and over the phone) regardingswimming pool barrier and building control matters. Investigate and report on requests for service related tobreaches of the Building Regulations 2012, specificallyconcerning private pool barriers. Problem-solve and provide advice while issuing noticesrelated to swimming pool barriers. About You Friendly, energetic, and approachable, with a naturaltalent for exceptional service. In addition, to be considered for this role, you'llpossess the following skills and/or qualifications:
In-depth knowledge of pool and spa safety regulations. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively withproperty owners and team members.
