Mills Recruitment is seeking a Hydrologist to join out client on a permanent full-time basis based in West Perth and occasionally onsite.Our client a leading ASX-listed pure-play lithium company, owning 100% of the world's largest, independent hard-rock lithium operation.The Role: You will report to the Principal Hydrogeologist, in this role you will play a pivotal role in understanding and managing groundwater resources.This position involves conducting hydrogeological investigations and impact assessments, maintaining a site wide water balance, assisting in the management of water supply infrastructure and bore fields, offering expert advice for the sustainable management of water resources.This role is based in Perth with routine visits to the operations located south of Port Hedland.Responsibilities: Planning and overseeing hydrogeological field programs and investigations.Maintain, manage and analyse geological and hydrogeological data.Formulating and updating conceptual hydrogeological models.Contributing to groundwater resource management and protection.Maintaining an accurate site-wide water balance.Interpret data to assess the sustainability of water resources.Evaluating potential environmental impacts on groundwater resources.Ensuring adherence to regulatory conditions, operating licences, and standards.Collaborating in the creation of technical reports, procedures, groundwater operating strategies.impact assessments, management plans and other regulatory compliance reports.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement water supply infrastructure.Developing and enhancing operational reporting dashboards The successful will require: Bachelor's degree in Hydrogeology, Geology, Geosciences or Environmental Engineering.Current WA C-class manual driver's licence.Minimum of 2-5 years industry experience.Sound knowledge of groundwater and surface water monitoring systems and equipment, data management and analysis packages/systems Excellent technical report writing and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated experience working in multidisciplinary teams.An aptitude for data interpretation and problem-solving.Hands-on practical approach to hydrogeology and passion for all things groundwater.GIS experience (ideally QGIS) Microsoft Office skills Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement Desirable: MSc in Hydrogeology highly regarded Mining experience highly desirable.Experience managing and interoperating large datasets and databases.Experience using data analytics and business intelligence software packages (Power BI and Tableau).Experience using other specialised hydrogeological and mining software packages such as Surfer, Leapfrog, MODFLOW, AquiferTest, AquaSolv, LogPlot, Vulcan etc would be advantageous.If you fill the criteria, please apply now or send your CV to ******
