We are currently looking for a Senior Swift Integration Specialist with demonstrated experience in maintaining and managing Swift applications within IT in the Financial Services industry for a 2 year fixed-term contract. This role requires extensive knowledge of SWIFT applications, Payment platforms, Fast Settlement Systems, and related functional domain knowledge. In addition to this, Redhat Linux (RHEL) Operating System and Cloud technology understanding will be highly regarded.
About the role Lead integration and configuration of SWIFT vendor products, including SWIFT Payment Access Gateways (PAGs), SWIFT Domestic Messaging Channels (DMCs), SWIFT AWP Alliance (SAA), SWIFT Netlinks (SNLs), and other SWIFT infrastructure.Collaborate closely with different departments on the New Payment Platform (NPP) and associated Fast Settlement Systems (FSS) systems to ensure alignment with business requirements.Support, patch, and upgrade Swift products on a regular basis and have a good understanding of the SWIFT Network.Provide ongoing functional and technical support for SWIFT systems to enable seamless payment processing and settlement.Troubleshoot and resolve SWIFT integration and messaging issues to maintain high availability and performance.Identify risks/issues from an administrative perspective, develop plans to mitigate/resolve, and implement these in a timely manner, measuring effectiveness.A general knowledge of VMware virtualisation technologies (e.g., vSphere, vCenter, ESXi) and Network Engineering (Cisco UCS).Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in SWIFT technologies and payment systems to provide strategic guidance and insights. About you Proficiency with SWIFT vendor products, including but not limited to SWIFT Payment Access Gateways, SWIFT Domestic Messaging Channel, SWIFT AWP, SAA, SNL, SAGs, Swift HSMs, and SWIFT Networks.Experience across RedHat Linux (highly desirable).Functional Knowledge: Strong domain expertise in payment systems, settlement processes, and real-time payment infrastructures.
