With a rapidly expanding presence across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Vice President of Sales to drive growth and lead our sales efforts across this diverse and exciting market.What makes this role interesting?As the SVP APAC, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive Sales and GTM strategy to accelerate our revenue growth across the region. You will lead a high-performing sales team, build strong relationships with key enterprise clients, build a world-class channel ecosystem, and work closely with cross-functional leaders to expand our market presence. This is a critical leadership role, requiring a proven track record of success in the software industry, deep understanding of the APAC market, and an ability to manage complex, multi-country sales operations.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a robust Sales and GTM strategy for the APAC region, ensuring alignment with global business objectives. Lead, mentor, and grow the sales team to achieve revenue targets.Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, drive market penetration, and expand our presence in key APAC markets, including Japan, Australia, Southeast Asia, and India.Client Relationships: Build and nurture long-term relationships with enterprise customers and strategic partners, ensuring high customer satisfaction and repeat business.Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure the successful delivery and implementation of software solutions tailored to client needs.Forecasting & Reporting: Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting to provide actionable insights to executive leadership.Talent Development: Attract, retain, and develop top sales talent in the region, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.Market Insights: Stay updated on competitive trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in the APAC region to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.Minimum Qualifications15+ years of software sales experience, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth in the APAC region, particularly within the enterprise software space.Deep understanding of the cultural, regulatory, and economic nuances of key APAC markets.Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-country sales teams and operations.Strong network of executive relationships across key industries in the region.Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.Experience in SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software is highly preferred.Experience in Services and channels is preferred.Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA preferred.The locations for this role can be:Sydney, AustraliaApply now and help change how the world transforms complex data landscapes into actionable insights and turns complex data challenges into new opportunities!More About Qlik And Who We AreFind out more about life at Qlik on social: Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X/Twitter, and to see all other opportunities to join us and our values, check out our Careers Page.What else do we offer?Genuine career progression pathways and mentoring programsCulture of innovation, technology, collaboration, and opennessFlexible, diverse, and international work environmentGiving back is a huge part of our culture.
