In this newly created role, as the Sustainability Reporting Coordinator, your data collection, analytical, and reporting skills will help ensure that MMS remains compliant with relevant reporting frameworks and pursues its sustainability agenda. In addition, there will be opportunities for you to identify opportunities for improvement in the pursuit of MMS's Sustainability goals and develop strategies to integrate sustainability initiatives into our operations.
Key Responsibilities for this role include the following: Develop and maintain sustainability reporting frameworks and dashboards.Work closely with the Head of Sustainability to prepare and present reports to stakeholders, ELT, and Board.Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to support ESG investment strategies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability data and reporting requirements into business practices.Contribute to the development of sustainability policies and practices.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritise sustainability-related business requirements.Develop and implement sustainability initiatives that align with business objectives and MMS' FY25 – FY28 Sustainability Strategy.Monitor and report on the progress of sustainability projects, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.Participate in sustainability programs such as Reconciliation Action Plan and Accessibility and Inclusion Plan working groups. To be considered for this role: You're a strategic thinker, who is passionate about sustainability.You love working with data and are excited to look at innovative ways of collecting data to deliver on reporting requirements.Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.Familiarity with a variety of sustainability reporting standards including the new Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards and the Global Reporting Initiative.
