Silverstrand is seeking a Surveying Manager to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team. You will be based in our Brisbane/SEQ projects and employed permanently.
Supporting and building an internal and collaborative Surveying team.
About the role: The Surveying Manager is responsible for:
Leading and supporting the Surveying teamDocumenting and signing off on surveying map outsCoordinating the Surveying team to ensure that all projects are supportedBasic and complex set-outs/as-built of civil projects as the works progressVariety of civil project works across earthworks, roads, pipework, structures, piling, metal works, etcVolume Surveying for trenches, bulk earthworks, etcCAD Skills to present drawings and volumes for potential variation worksCompletion of control surveysCompiling monthly production reportsLoading designs on GPS MachinesCollaborating with the project teams to ensure accuracyEssential Skills and Experience: Registered Surveyor with the Surveyors Board of Queensland – RequiredRegistered Surveyor with the Geospatial Council of Australia – RequiredMinimum Diploma in Surveying and/or relevant tertiary qualificationsPrevious experience in an Engineering Surveyor role with minimum 5 years experienceExperience with Trimble Total Station and GPS or Leica Total Stations or similarExperience using 12D software or similarManage and raise technical queriesKnowledge of construction scheduling and sequencingExcellent safety record from previous projectsAbout Us: Silverstrand is a privately owned and operated contractor operating across Australasia since 2008, providing quality delivery in all areas of both civil and structural construction works in metro, regional and remote areas.
