Join the Exact team as a Survey Manager and play a pivotal role in supporting civil, water, and mining projects across SA, NT & VIC.
18th December, 2024This role will report directly to the Operations Manager and work in conjunction with Project Managers and Area Managers to achieve project objectives.
The successful candidate will have to regularly travel to site and assist with filling resource gaps as required, which involves working in remote, hot, dry, and dusty environments.
Role responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Provide support and assistance with major project start-ups.Conduct regular site visits and support project resourcing as required.Coordinate and manage all surveying equipment & assets across projects.Maintain records and licences for all survey equipment.Maintain supplier and contractor relationships.Ensure compliance with audits and inspection requirements.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices and innovation, providing for continual improvement of survey operations.Ensure legal compliance in all activities undertaken as required.Provide guidance and training internally to assist the growth of others.Candidate RequirementsRelevant surveying tertiary qualification (Cert IV or higher);Experience within the civil or mining industry;Proficiency with a range of relevant software including AutoCad, 3D Civil, and Surpac;Highly experienced with GPS systems, Trimble Total Station, and Trimble Machine Control;The ability to work remotely as required; andCurrent valid driver's licence.Our CompanyExact Contracting was established in 1992 and has a reputable history in the Civil, Mining, and Agriculture industries, built on years of experience providing high-quality services to a range of clients.
