Our client is seeking an experienced Survey Crew Lead to join their team!
In this role, you will work under the overall management of the Survey Operations Team Lead to support key business initiatives, including supervising the field survey team to safely execute Site Selection, Environmental, Cultural Heritage, and other surveys in support of business requirements.Indicative Term of Contract: 24 monthsRoster: 15/13 (2 on, 2 off)Note: Preferably local candidates in Chinchilla (Candidates based in BNE are also considered).Key requirements:Leadership skills - Experience leading a small teamStakeholder management (5-10 years of experience in safety leadership)Experience in Construction in O&G/mining/resources industryExperience in surveying.Accountabilities:Lead the execution of field surveys for site selection of all infrastructure locations or scope being surveyedSupervise the field survey process and manage HSSE for all members of the survey teamIdentify risks and eliminate, or implement mitigation measures, for the Survey Operations TeamCapitalize on potential opportunities in the field as part of surveying site selection for proposed infrastructureEnsure all stakeholders (e.g.
Environment, Social Performance, Land Management, Health and Safety, Indigenous Relations, Engineering and Construction) complete the field site clearances and submit clearance reports to the Survey Operations CoordinatorCompile and review documentation produced by internal stakeholder groups from the pegging party (e.g.
survey sketches)Interface with all stakeholders in the Integrated Approvals process (e.g.
