MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST ENT Clinics are located in Queensland, Sydney and Melbourne; we are a group of National ENT Medical Specialists.
We are currently seeking a casual Medical Receptionist(s) to join our enthusiastic team for 2-3 days a week at our Benowa clinic. Preferably 15-22.5 hours a week, covering gaps on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays depending on the needs of the clinic.
Our Surgical Medical Receptionists are essential for our clinics to provide high-quality positive patient care and high-level administrative support for our doctors / surgeons.

Besides working in a good environment your daily duties will include, but not be limited to: Excelling in welcoming and assisting our patientsAnswering phone calls, emails and making patient bookings Liaising with specialists, hospitals and health fundsProcessing payments for Medicare/DVA/WorkCover/TACPreparing clinical equipment and consumables for consulting sessions Sterilisation of instrumentsOrganising patient billing and medical records Preparing and receipting patient accounts Ensuring the patients, hospitals and doctors have the appropriate paperwork / details before surgerySend out patient reports/letters and information as requiredLiaise with referring doctors and their staffFlexible to assist with a variety of tasks as needed.Our Ideal Candidate Will Have: Preferably 2 years' experience in a medical clinic, and it will be beneficial if you have surgical practice exp.Articulate and warm approach with the ability to use empathy appropriately and provide patients with quality serviceA sound understanding of the importance of client confidentiality High level of professional communication skills in both verbal and written English Ability to work independently in a positive, professional manner, as well as being an excellent team playerCompetent in using Genie or other medical software (desirable not essential), In the future be able to train new employees Excellent time management and multi-tasking skillsAbility to prioritize workloads and work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentAble to accurately type while speaking to patients A proactive, flexible and can-do attitudeWe would love to hear from you if this role appeals to you and you have a passion to be part of a team in the medical industry and enjoy excelling in patient and doctor support.
