About usYumaro is a registered charity and NDIS service provider offering Employment, Training, Lifestyle, Home, Community and Accommodation Support services to people living with a disability in the Eurobodalla and Shoalhaven regions.
We employ over 200 people and we have supported hundreds of Australians living with a disability since 1985.
About the opportunitiesDue to the increasing demand for disability support services, Yumaro is always on the lookout for passionate and driven individuals who want to help and support people achieve their goals in an independent way.
We are looking for casual workers.
Opportunities include providing:
In home support - assist with personal care including grooming and feedingCommunity support - help clients with household chores such as cooking and cleaning and arranging transportationSupport at our independent living complexesSocial Services - community outings and day programsCapacity-building programs - help develop participants' life skills, confidence, and independenceSupport coordination - help participants navigate services such as education, health, and housingWhat we seek• Desire to work in community services in the disability sector• Experience working with a diverse range of people• An interest in participating in our inclusive social programs and support
