Support Workers, AIN's & Disability Workers - Aged & Disability Support (Community Services & Development)

Roles & Responsibilities include: Supporting clients to live an active lifestyle and participate in their community through the delivery of a range of person-centered programs. Work to behavior support plans by utilizing positive behavior strategies. Assist and support clients to access the community (e.g., driving clients to shops, appointments, coffee, gym, outdoor activities, etc.). Assist and support clients within their own home (e.g., assisting with household duties, personal and hygiene care, cooking, etc.). Maintenance of progress notes and record-keeping. Medication Management and Administration. Supporting clients who use personal equipment/aid, which may include walking or standing frames, wheelchairs, and hoists. Reliable and committed to providing quality care to ensure our clients remain independent. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: You must have the right to live and work in Australia. Certificate III or IV in individual support, aged care, disability, or an Allied Health qualification. Flexibility to work multiple shifts a day, including early mornings, late nights, sleepovers, weekends, and public holidays. Current first-aid and CPR certificate. Valid unrestricted Australian driver's license and your own comprehensive insured vehicle. Must have a current Working with Children Check and National Police Check. Completed NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Worker Orientation Module (access online: ndiscommission.gov.au/workers/training-course). An NDIS Workers Check is required. Excellent written & verbal communication skills and good command of the English language. Covid-19 Vaccine Digital Certificate or have Medical Contraindication Certificate.
