Do you have a passion for care? Do you want to help people with mild learning disabilities live independently and happily?
We are looking for a Waking Night Support Worker to join our brand new supported living residential service in Aldridge WS9, where you, as part of a team, will be supporting 17 service users in their own home with learning disabilities. Each person has different likes and hobbies, such as shopping, cooking, swimming, going on trips, having activities in the hub such as film nights and pamper sessions, and going out for meals. You will be responsible for providing personal care, medication, daily living skills, and activities to the people you support. You will also be part of a great team that will help you achieve your true potential.
Shift times: 10pm-7am, 3 days a week including alternate weekends.
At this present time, we are unable to consider sponsorship for this role. Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health issues will be ideal but not essential. We are a great team who would like to help you achieve your true potential. If you have never worked in care, we are happy to support you and welcome you to the fulfilling world of care. This is a rewarding role, and every day is different. Full training will be provided, working towards the Care Certificate, including other training courses such as learning disability awareness, autism awareness, and mental health awareness.
