Support Worker

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Disability Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a variety of individuals, including oxygen-dependent patients, assistance dog users, brain injury patients, and individuals with Bipolar disorder. Your role will involve providing personalised care and support to our clients, fostering independence, and promoting their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualised care and support to clients with diverse needs, including oxygen-dependent patients, assistance dog users, brain injury patients, and individuals with Bipolar disorder.Assist clients with activities of daily living, including personal care, medication management, and mobility assistance.Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes independence, dignity, and respect.Monitor and document clients' progress, behaviors, and any changes in condition.Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals, family members, and other support workers to ensure continuity of care.Requirements: Proven experience working as a Disability Support Worker or similar role.Experience working with oxygen-dependent patients, assistance dog users, brain injury patients, and individuals with Bipolar disorder preferred.Knowledge of relevant care practices and techniques, including medication administration and personal care.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting individuals with disabilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Certificate III or IV in Disability Support or equivalent qualification preferred.Current First Aid and CPR certification.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.Supportive and inclusive work environment.Meaningful work that makes a difference in the lives of others.How to Apply: If you are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of individuals with disabilities and meet the requirements outlined above, we would love to hear from you.
