About the role
We are looking for people to join our team as Support Workers in the aged community.
Part-time positions are currently available to work with the community care team.
As a Support Worker, you will be supporting people with daily activities such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, assistance in the community, and being a companion.
Qualified support workers will also support clients with personal cares, assistance with mobility, and prompting with medication.
You will support clients to achieve their goals and make choices in partnership with other support networks, promoting customer choice, positive routines, and activities ensuring they are meaningful to the customer.
We have clients living at home in Benalla and surrounding suburbs.
Where possible, we will roster employees based on geographic location to minimize travel.

Full training and orientation will be provided.A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability, or Individual Support (desired but not essential).Current and valid Driver's Licence and insured, reliable motor vehicle.Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself.Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation.Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.Proficiency in the use of technology such as smartphones, email, and the internet.A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation.
