We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Aged Care Support Workers to join our team based in Barwon, VIC. As an Aged Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and support to our clients to help them remain in their homes.
About the Role: As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of older clients in the Barwon community. Providing support to elderly clients to enable them to stay independent in their homesExperience variety by visiting clients in their homes within the Barwon covering Geelong and surrounding areasSupporting clients with daily activities and tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and transportation to appointments.Permanent Part Time opportunities availableMonday to Friday | Flexibility is essential.Base hourly rate of $30.61 plus 11% superannuation and eligibility for not-for-profit salary packaging (up to $15,900 tax benefits)Travel allowance of $0.99 per km and paid travel between servicesDaily mobile allowance paid when using your own device for work-related purposesWho We're Looking for : We are seeking compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated individuals who have a genuine passion for helping others with a key focus to provide high-quality person-centred care across all facets of support services.
To do so you will need to have the following:
Understanding of and a passion for working with the elderlyA registered, reliable, and comprehensively insured motor vehicleConfidence in using different forms of technology such as a smartphone or tabletA current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willing to obtainA current National Police Check or willingness to obtainFlexible approach to your availability and open to being rostered within work hours of 7.00 am - 7.00 pm, Monday to FridayAs a Community Support Worker, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of older adults within your community.
