We are currently recruiting for a new Support Worker to join our team based in Burnie to provide domestic assistance (such as cleaning and meal prep), intimate personal care, social support, and implement health and wellbeing initiatives that support our clients. As a Support Worker, you will join our esteemed national team of community services professionals, dedicated to helping individuals maintain their independence and well-being.
This is a part-time opportunity; however, we need availability to work on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at a minimum. Due to clients' needs in the area, we do require services to be covered as early as 7 am and as late as 7 pm.
As this is a part-time role, the base hourly rate is $30.94 +, along with 11% Superannuation and eligibility for not-for-profit salary packaging (providing up to $15,900 in tax benefits). Additionally, you will receive a travel allowance of $0.96 per km and paid travel time between services. A daily mobile allowance is also provided when using your own device for work-related purposes.
