We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Aged Care Support Workers to join our team based in Ballarat. As an Aged Care Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing care and support to our clients to help them remain in their homes.
About the Role: As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of older clients in the Bendigo community. Providing support to elderly clients to enable them to stay independent in their homes Experience variety by visiting clients in their homes within the Bendigo covering surrounding areas Supporting clients with daily activities and tasks such as cleaning, shopping, and transportation to appointments. Permanent Part Time opportunities available Monday to Friday | Flexibility is essential | Base hourly rate of $30.61 plus 11% superannuation and eligibility for not-for-profit salary packaging (up to $15,900 tax benefits) Travel allowance of $0.99 per km and paid travel between services Daily mobile allowance paid when using your own device for work related purposes Who We're Looking for : We are seeking compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated individuals who have a genuine passion for helping others with a key focus to provide high-quality person-centred care across all facets of support services.
To do so you will need to have the following:
Understanding of and a passion for working with the elderly A registered, reliable, and comprehensively insured motor vehicle Confidence in using different forms of technology such as a smartphone or tablet A current First Aid and CPR Certificate or willing to obtain A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain Flexible approach to your availability and open to being rostered within work hours of 7.00 am - 7.00 pm, Monday to Friday As a Community Support Worker, you will have the chance to make a real difference in the lives of older adults within your community.
