Main Duties will include: Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparationOther duties and responsibilities may include: Personal care: showering, dressing, grooming, and medication assistanceSocial support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointmentsSupporting customers in the use of aids and personal equipment including: standing or walking frames, wheelchairs, manual or electric hoists, sliding sheets or moving boards, hearing aids, and other physical aidsSupporting customers with complex and/or challenging needsMonitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progressParticipating in staff meetings and attending training as requiredWhat you will need:Proof of Vaccination (where relevant) i.e. COVID-19 vaccination certificateDisability Workers Screening Clearance (NDIS Worker Screening Check) or Criminal Police CheckCurrent First Aid certificate/CPRCurrent Australian Driver's LicenceReliable, registered, and insured vehicleSmartphone with internet accessCurrent Working with Children Check Preferred (Blue card)Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability ServicesExperience in Domestic Assistance DutiesNext steps:If you would like to join our growing team of Support Workers and become part of our friendly, professional network, please apply today.
