The Opportunity: Come and join our team! We are seeking a Community Disability Support Worker to support our client based in Templestowe Lower. You will be responsible for supporting a customer with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:
Providing support in everyday daily activities around the homeProviding support with hygiene and personal careAssistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environmentAssisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medicationMeal assistance which may include meal preparationDomestic duties and cleaningTo be successful in this role you will have: At least one year experience as a Disability Support Worker or Aged Care WorkerNDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtainWillingness to learn and a can-do attitudeWhat shifts are we offering?
