The Opportunity: Based in Bendigo working with our Community Clients within their homes, as a Support Worker at Claro, you will be supporting our customers with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. Each day may look a little different but your work will be centred around the following:
Providing support in everyday daily activities around the homeProviding support with hygiene and personal careAssistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environmentAssisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medicationMeal assistance which may include meal preparationShift times: Monday to Friday: 8.30am-11am9.30am-12.30pm4pm-6pm9pm-11pmSaturday: 10am-2.30pm10.30am-12.45pm4pm-6pmSunday: 8am-12pm10am-1pmTo be successful in this role you will have: A minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual SupportExperience as a Disability Support WorkerAustralian Drivers Licence (P2 minimum), reliable vehicle and comprehensive car insuranceNDIS Clearance, First Aid (3 yrs), CPR (12 months) & National police clearance - or willingness to obtainAble to work a range of shifts including morning, afternoon, night (active or passive)What we Offer: Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle, work/life balance needs and availabilityPaid travel between client shifts (minimum distance applies)Paid induction training when you startPaid annual trainingOn-the-job advice and mentoring
