About the Role: Our team are looking for a Support Worker in Carnarvon area who can work alongside our customers to provide quality and practical assistance that enables them to continue to lead their own lives with dignity and stay connected with family and community.
We have predominantly Aged Care based customers, some requiring low care and some requiring more complex care.
We are seeking someone who has previous experience working with aged care and an understanding around palliative care.
This is a Permanent Part Time position with a preference to work Monday, Wednesday & Friday mornings, however, there is flexibility to work around what suits you!
There is also high potential to increase hours in the near future as our customer base increases.
What You Need: Previous experience working with Aged Care Current driver's license and a NDIS Clearance or willing to obtain one Flexibility to work morning shifts through the week Already residing in Carnarvon or surrounding areas Ability to assist with physical tasks and help with mobility as needed.
What You'll Do: Provide practical and personalized support to our customers, including assistance with daily activities and mobility.
Assist with domestic cleaning and personal care tasks such as showering.
Advocate for their rights and preferences to ensure they feel empowered in their care.
Help customers stay connected to their communities and maintain independence through social activities and local services.
Build trust to create a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment.
