About the Role: Being one of Australia's leading manufacturers in the building & interiors industry requires ongoing support and maintenance. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Support Services Operator to join our Engineering / Support Services Team at the Toolara Plant. This role involves ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of the factory and surrounding areas, supporting production, and maintaining a high standard of safety and cleanliness.
Position Details: Work Area: Team Engineering / Support Services Work Schedule: Monday – Friday Hours: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (40 hours per week, including RDO accrual) Overtime: Some overtime may be available RDO: 1 RDO per month
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and clean factory areas and external roadways Operate a sweeper truck and other cleaning equipment Manage bottled water supplies and sanitization General housekeeping, including garden and litter control Assist with maintenance and clean-up in various plant areas Operate a forklift and tractor as needed Ensure safety protocols are followed, including eye wash stations and spill kits Provide support for archives management and visitor escorting Perform general labor and support services across the site Skills and Attributes: Mandatory forklift ticket Manufacturing background Attention to detail and sound computer skills Safe work ethic and strong reliability Good communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to plan, organize, and work unsupervised Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Team player with the ability to work independently Join Our Journey: Laminex is more than a workplace; it's a community committed to excellence, innovation, and creating beloved spaces for Australians.
