About the role
The Support Officer isresponsible for the provision of a wide range of administrativeduties, which support the delivery of high-quality educationprograms. In performing these duties, the Support Officer may, on aday to day basis, support the work of TAFE SA teams and will liaisewith a diverse range of key stakeholders. In all cases the SupportOfficer is expected to work as part of a larger AdministrativeServices team to ensure a high standard of customer service isprovided to internal and external customers at all times.
To be successful you will need:
Relevant experience in providing high qualitystudent/customer centric service in a front-lineenvironment. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, withexcellent customer service skills. Work sensitively andeffectively with a diverse customer and student cohort,including people with disabilities and from diverse culturaland linguistic backgrounds. Ability to prioritise and manage fluctuating workloads, ina high-volume, deadline-driven customer service environment toachieve team objectives. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and,under general direction, exercise judgement in theinterpretation of regulations, procedures andinstructions. Experience in the use of multiple systems, such asdatabases, email, Office 365; Excel and Word, with the abilityto undertake efficient and accurate data entry whilemaintaining data quality standards. Special Conditions
The successful applicant is required to demonstrate having a validWorking With Children Check (WWCC) prior to being employed.Applicants who do not hold a WWCC will need to apply at Departmentof Human Services (DHS).
Some out of hours work may be required, and a flexibleapproach to out of hours is essential including weekends. The incumbent may be required to work in different teams asworkload demand changes. Operational and working hours may be adjusted according tobusiness needs. The incumbent may need to travel to an alternativelocation, when required. Some intra/interstate travel and overnight absences may berequired Eligible to work in Australia Please refer to the Role Description for all SpecialConditions.
